TAKE ACTION
Make Your Voice Heard
Municipal primaries are Tuesday, September 9, with early voting September 2–7. To vote, you must be registered with a political party—new or unaffiliated voters can register in person at the registrar’s office until noon on September 8, or at their polling place on Primary Day. Absentee ballot applications are available online or at your town clerk’s office. The general election is Tuesday, November 4.
Protect SNAP and HUSKY
Federal cuts to HUSKY and SNAP could impact access to food, healthcare, and jobs for thousands of Connecticut residents. Without state action, up to 200,000 people may lose HUSKY coverage, more than 9,000 jobs could be affected, and families could face greater food insecurity. Take action today to urge state leaders to protect these essential programs.
