The Bridge Project

The Bridge Project is providing unconditional cash assistance to 500 families across the state of Connecticut to cover necessities and foster family stability in the first 1,000 days of a child's life. If you are selected by lottery to join the program, you will be in The Bridge Project for 36 months and will receive up to $750 a month, to be used however you see fit with no strings attached. In order to fill out the interest form for The Bridge Project, you must meet all of the below eligibility requirements: Be 18 years old or older Be 23 weeks pregnant or less Have an annual household income under $44,000 Live in Connecticut Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

A Guide to Accessing Food in Danbury

The Danbury Food Collaborative works together to improve access to food, quality of food, and sustainability of food for all members of the greater Danbury community. Nurse-Family Partnership at RVNA Health is expanding with updated eligibility criteria, making it easier for families to access free personal nurse support during pregnancy and early parenthood.

You can now refer:

RVNA Health is now enrolling first-time pregnant individuals into the Nurse-Family Partnership program. This free program pairs first-time parents with a nurse home visitor from pregnancy until the child turns 2.

Who is eligible to enroll? Any person who:

  • Is pregnant with their first child
  • Is 28 weeks or less pregnant
  • Meets income requirements
  • Lives in the Greater Danbury area, Waterbury or Torrington areas
