WHAT YOUR DOLLAR SUPPORTS

Haley, a young single mother and survivor of domestic violence, found herself in temporary housing with her three-year-old son, Joshua. Determined to rebuild her life, she worked towards completing her GED while searching for employment. However, living in an area with limited public transportation made it nearly impossible to find affordable child care. Thanks to critical needs funding, Haley was able to purchase a vehicle and enroll Joshua in childcare, giving her the support she needed to pursue her education and secure a job.
